I've never done a LGMH, but I saw several in May ... just never got close enough to say "hi". Well, a teenage boy had one in front of us at the parade, but I didn't feel right approaching a kid. :lmao:

AKL is at the top of my list. Hoping for a stay there in 2013. And can't beat Free Dining!

Anyone looking forward to visiting the Flower & Garden Festival should find this article interesting. I know I am looking forward to the Festival for the Photographic opportunities. I was able to get some fantastic pictures in 2009.

I was excited to see F&G started while we were there! I even moved my Epcot day so we could catch it. We were able to see it in April 2010 and it was stunning! I loved all the topiaries! :cloud9:

I'm checking out my current ADR's as well - second guessing some of my selections. We are a party of 6, but this is really my DD grad trip with her BFF - so in fact, we are tagging along with my SIL/BIL.

Both DD and her BFF are somewhat picky eaters - so where my wife and I would like to eat might not be a good choice for my DD.

The only ADR I'm questioning is Chef de France for Dinner. We've never eaten there before and would like to try a new restaurant on this trip. Sometimes it's hard to be the main decision maker for the trip - other times it's a blessing :confused3

I started second guessing ours too. I had let DH help me choose and he picked 2 signatures which ended with us the having to pay OOP for 2 of our meals during the trip so I ditched those, DH eats so fast or should I say inhales his food ? that he would not take the time needed to savor those meals plus that is not really him, I think he thought I would enjoy eating those places. This way we save some $ and I am positive DH will enjoy his food more.

Here's what we have for ADR's so far:

Mar 3: Dinner: Chef de France
Mar 4: Dinner: O'hana
Mar 6: Dinner: 50's Primetime
Mar 7: Dinner: Boma
Mar 8: Dinner: le Cellier

Mar 3rd is the one I'm 2nd guessing. We'll be eating @ EPCOT

From prior trips, we've already eaten @ Rose & Crown, Nine Dragons, Coral Reef and already have le Cellier for our last night.

I guess I'll just show the menus to my DD and ask her opinion on where she'd like to go.

We're on the Free DDP so price doesn't factor into our choices - just looking for a good selection of food and a nice atmosphere

We are going the same time except we will be at POR. We are also driving but I am taking Friday March 23rd off so I can pack and get everything ready. When my wife gets home from work, she is a teacher, the engine will be running and we get in the car.....dinner will be Jimmy Johns in the car. We plan on making it as far as Louisville on Friday night which then will allow us to get to the Florida boarder by Saturday night.

Can't wait

There are so many good places to eat in Epcot, it is hard to choose which ones to make ADR's for. I have never eaten at Les Chefs de France so I can not be of any help, although it was on my list but just not enough time this trip.

One of the changes I made today was making an ADR for 50's Prime Time for dinner on March 6th, looks like we might cross paths

Just realized this thread existed!

I'll be there March 25-31:cool1: Staying at POFQ. It'll be mine and dh's first time staying on property, and my kids' (ages 3 and 6) first time Disneyworld! So excited!:yay:

They will love the pool I think at POFQ, I know my DS did it is fun and not too big for lil guys.

Our ADR is for 4pm, we want to see Fantasmic! for the first time ever so trying to allow enough time to line up even though I do have a F! Pkg booked at MM for lunch, I worry about being seated late and having to rush through our meal.

Les Chefs de France ... well, I have no issues recommending it to anyone! They have a good variety on their menu, and if you have a picky eater, I'm sure they'll do their best to accommodate (no seasoning or switching out sides). Plus, any kid meal can be turned into an adult meal. I found this out in 2009 when my aunt didn't want anything on the menu at a place I booked. She asked if she could order off the kid's menu and they said they'd be happy to bring her a kid's meal. We were on the DDP, so I don't recall how it was charged, but I'm sure they increase the size and price. I want to say she ordered a grilled chicken breast, and it was served with two breasts and sides. I truly do not recall ... I just know she was happy and didn't have to eat the Norwegian food. :lmao:

As far as 50s go, I can't wait until my March 7th ADR! We ate there in May and I licked my plate clean. Yum! This year, I'm looking forward to the antics. (I'll be requesting a playful server up on check-in.)

I don't blame you! I've had ADRs where I thought we'd never get a table at ... and ADRs where they sat you as you walked in the door. You just never know. I'd rather err on the side of cautious than miss out on something. :thumbsup2
