Was just curious when the Disney Unofficial Guide for 2008 comes out? Or is it out already!!!!????

I believe the last date I saw on Barnes and Noble.com was August 20.

I have mine pre-ordered from Barnes & Noble and it's supposed to ship 8/20.

I am trying to hold off and not get the 2008 since we are not going back until 2009. I still love reading it though so I will probably break down and get it.

not trying to hijack the thread but I have a question about the UG since I never bought one before and I am curious...
What are some of the reasons why you buy the book???

Before I discovered the dis..I solely used the unofficial guide to plan my trip to wdw. It tells you everything!! descriptions of hotels! it even gives you the room numbers for bad and good views at the resort...it has a mini review/description on each restaurant.description of each ride and attraction...there are so many things the book covers i couldnt write it..most importantly i use it for the crowd calendar..once you have the book you go to the ************ website and see which day you should go to which park based on crowd levels.... i usually plan my week based on it. I decide what days I will be going to what park that way i will have an idea where i will be going each day so i will be able to make adr...

Oh, yes, be sure to use the UG if you want some really helpful information for traveling with children/babies. There is a lot of information in it and it's a huge book so get it asap so you have time to read everything that pertains to you. Be sure to get the new edition because even though some of the stuff is recycled from previous editions, much of it is new and you don't want to get steered wrong with old stuff that is outdated. it really is a good resource...there are parts that are slightly opinionated but in general I haven't found a better resource. The crowd calendar is a must have
