"unofficial" days??

I have heard of Bats Day and Gay Days, but does anyone know of any other unofficial days? I am just being curious...

I don't know how well they're planned, but there are days where ravers come in to the parks. But, unlike the Bats Day and Gay days, the ravers are not as well behaved. I've never heard of any problems with the Goths (other than them inviting some curious stares and wondering how they can wear all the black at the end of August) or the Gays when they're there, but I know of at least one bad incident with a raver.

Some of the other big DL sites like Laughingplace have annual "days" where all of the posters meet and have some organized activities.But the avarage visitor would not notice it.

Bats Day is when people come dressed in Gothic clothes. Quite interesting since it's in late-August and usually 90+ degrees out. I was watching a friend of mine on his last day as a Billy sub and during the last show there were some Goths in the front row and they're always good natured enough to take a joke and here's the one he made:

Billy to Goths: You like Goth music?

Goths nod

Billy: Yeah, so do we. Love that Goth Brooks.

Audience laughs

Billy yelling backstage: Hey guys, the joke worked!
