I emailed them a couple of weeks ago because we are going in March and wanted to be sure I had the most up to date information. This is part of the email I got back...

We'll have new EMH touring plans for each park available on the website prior to
your trip, hopefully by the end of this month. I'm not sure whether we'll
include them in the Guide - space considerations come into play - but it's
certainly something we'll consider.

Hope that helps some.

does this mean new books are PRINTED are no?I wanna get one and just dont know what to do,,,,,,,thanks!!!

I could be wrong but I believe the website will be updated with all the new info. I don't think (but I sure could be wrong!!) the actual book will be reprinted. The website is usually quite up to date. If Len is around, he'll let us know for sure.

The UG are published in the fall. I'm a librarian and we've recieved ours in August the past few years. If you check Amazon you'll notice an August pub date for the 2005 edition.

Is there a website? I lent my 2004 UG to sister-in-law and she has not returned it yet. Did not think it would be necessary to buy a 2005 one.

Hi folks,

There will be a second printing of the 2005 Unofficial Guide. I believe those books will be available worldwide by the end of this month. The easiest way to tell whether the book you're looking at is the most up todate is by checking for coverage of the Magic Your Way tickets at the beginning of chapter two. The second printing will have that coverage, while the first printing does not.

As always, the website (www.TouringPlans.com) has updates and corrections to the first edition, including the new Magic Your Way tickets, the revised EMH schedule, the new dining plan, a revised "Which park on which day" schedule, and the usual collection of errata and updates. Links are provided to each section from the main page of the website. If there's anything we've missed there, please let me know.

Regarding evening EMH touring plans, I believe the website addresses those, too, for every park. If you don't see a touring plan you'd like to have, let me know and we'll see what we can do.

Hope this helps!

Len

thank you sooo much.I think I will just hit the bookstores ans OPEN the book so so can be sure its the right one......instead of doing amazon,,,,,,this book is one of my faves!!!!!!!! the touring plans sound weird(backtracking etc,,BUT THEY WORK!!!!) i am a huge fan!!!!

Thanks Len!!! THis is one time I'm more than happy to be wrong. Looks like a good thing I never got the original 2005 version. Hi Ho..Hi Ho...it's off to Borders I go.......(well, later this month anyway!!)

As I tell my wife, procrastination does occasionally work out, eh goofy4tink?

allisonwonderland, we have no-backtrack (or really, really light backtracking) touring plans available, too. I think our focus the last couple of months has been almost exclusively on those. Let me know if there's something specific you're looking for, and I'll see what we can suggest.

Thanks everyone!

Len

hey..i think my post came out the wrong way(the little plans is the backs of the books/....) not really back tracking,,but seemed to be not going with the way the rest of the park was traveling,,which is EXACTLY why it worked,,we knew where to go,,at what time,,what to ...expect,,even what to eat,,,,if u dont have this book..U MUST GET IT!!!!! I am gving my sister my old copy so I can have an great excuse to buy the new one LOL

Hey Len How does one get to the touring plans on your site?

Thanks.....

Bigcrit, check the "free samples" link on the site for examples from each park. I'd rather not turn this post into an ad, so I'll leave it at that. Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions: len@touringplans.com.

Thanks!

Len

Len,
I posted a tentative Itinerary for our trip in May. If you have time could you take a look. I don't want to impose and I do understand if you don't have time. I'm sure you get this all the time. If you have a chance here is the link.

It's not very long or time consuming.....Thanks.
