Has anyone purchased their tickets from "unlocked magic?" Just wondering what the process was like, any perks or drawbacks to purchasing them from there?

Curious about them too. I’m quickly needing to book my mom’s ticket for our Aug trip. We’ve usually used Boardwalk Ticketing but it appears their website is completely down/gone. Saw an add for Unlocked Magic and was curious.

I decided to bite the bullet and tried it today. The tickets were the least costly that I could find.

Although it does state 24-48 hours for the tickets to arrive I had them in about 2 hours. The only thing I found odd is that each arrived in its own email.

All tickets have now been linked to my account

We bought tickets from them a couple of weeks ago. We ordered them over a weekend, so we got the confirmation numbers the following Monday morning. They linked up just fine.

I’ve bought through them as DVC Rental Store. The only downside is that it may take a day or two to receive the ticket via email. I prefer them to UndercoverTourist, where my correct login refuses to work and the CS agent can’t help me with it for some reason.

I was just coming to look and see if anyone had used them. My annual pass ran out and it doesn't make financial sense for me to get annual passes this year. we'll only go once for 5 days.

I will need 6 tickets, so you're saying that each ticket came in a separate email. Did you have to assign names at purchase or just link them individually? My problem is two are for my in-laws who have only guest accounts at Disney that we manage. Any issue with me linking tickets for them?

For those who’ve purchased tickets from Unlocked Magic, was the credit card transaction categorized as Travel, Entertainment, or some other category?

I did rcv one email saying congrats on purchase - and then one email with one confirmation number - and second email with second confirmation. All showed up at the same time

Very simple to link to MDE- one minute and done!

We also didn’t renew AP this year- this made way more sense and the price couldn’t be beat! I’ll do it next time too!

Would appreciate if someone could identify what CC category the spend was using Unlocked magic. I know someone asked above but didnt see any responses.

Thanks!

I just bought our Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets from UnlockedMagic, the 10% off was better than the $10 off for DVC Members and Annual Passholders, and that $10 off didn't even apply for my date in early December. It did take around 24 hours to get my tickets. I received 1 confirmation code for all 4 tickets that I was able to link in MDE.

The tickets were purchased with a Chase card and the one "bad" thing is that purchase coded "Office & Shipping" not "Travel" or "Entertainment". So it won't trip the Chase Freedom "Select Live Entertainment" nor will it give 3% on a Chase Sapphire Reserve. However, it might be good if you have a Chase Ink Business Cash since it gives 5% back on Office Supplies.

I had the same experience, but got lucky and still earned 3x since I used my Chase Ink Business Preferred. Plan to use my Chase Ink Business Cash next time for 5x!
