Unlink Resort Reservation from MDE

Is there a way to unlink a resort reservation from the MDE without calling in? There is one day that we may want to change our park pass in late June and AP availability is wide open while resort guest availability is not. I know I can call the AP line and they would help with this by unlinking / grabbing the pass / relinking, but I was hoping to save a phone call.

ETA: Perhaps this could be accomplished by editing the secondary guest name? Would this trigger a removal from MDE?

The only way to completely unlink is to have it canceled or call as others have done.

Changing guests does not unlink..unless all guests are no longer part of your friends and family.
 
Thank you. We'll give the AP line a call if we decide we want to switch it or keep an eye out if resort guest passes are replenished.
 
This is now a moot point. They just released more passes for June. Curious if this is the usual replenishment, an increase in capacity, or the new cancellation system being enforced.
 

Unfortunately the only way I could get it done was thru MS. I was able to go thru chat and they took care of it.

I was able to get a couple of days changed today via chat. They didn't even unlink the reservation from MDE. Whoever the chat person contacted in "support" was able to pull from the passholder bucket without making any changes in MDE.
