I will be staying for one night at Hard Rock, specifically for the Unlimited Express Pass, at the beginning of February. Two adults in the room.
I have an elderly family member that will be coming up to visit for one of the two days, and will not be spending the night. Wanting to make sure they would get Express Pass, I need to add them on to our room reservation.
Loews charges $35 to add an adult on to the reservation ($0 for child). With the new facial recognition system, I was curious if, in park, team members ever checked Adult v. Child on the Express Pass room keys. I know adult v. child doesn't matter for normal EP; just curious if room keys are any different.
Normally I'd happily pay the extra adult fee, but where they're not staying at the hotel at all, my preference would be to add them on as a child. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
