Hello….we are a party of 4 traveling in August. In one stateroom is my husband and I, the second stateroom is my daughter and mother…..ours rooms are adjoining. Do we need to purchase 2 photo packages? I read that because my daughter is 5 and in a different stateroom then us she would be included in our photo package. But what about my mother? Do we need to purchase a separate one for her? We are confused about how this works. We cruised with my mother in separate staterooms in 2017 but didn’t have this issue, everyone was included under one purchase.

You can add them in all your photos. You can’t get a picture of your mother or daughter alone in your package.

Stay with you Unlimited package.
Then buy a smaller package for these photos:
Just Grandma and grand daughter
Just Grandma
Just daughter

They both can be in the unlimited photo package such as:
All 4 of you
You with mom and/or daughter
Husband with daughter

Pretty sure you can get that in 10 or 20 photos if you toss out the duplicates and pick out the best.

It’s that they take single shots of everyone at dinner that gets out of hand. Insist on group shots at dinner.

You can add your daughter to your package. Any photos taken with either you, your husband, or your daughter in them will be included in the package. Any photos taken with ONLY your mother will not be included.

If you want individual photos of your mother, you can purchase ala carte, or there's (or used to be) a "buy one full package, get 2d package 50% off" promotion.

Yes, go to Shutters once onboard to do it.

Just to echo, we just did that on the Magic. I went to shutters when they opened on the first evening, and gave them my room number and my son’s room number. And we got all the pictures. No problems.
