So, just as a discussion, what're some things you'd love to see at WDW, but are pretty unlikely.

My list?

Acknowledgement of the Disney Afternoon properties- Y'know, Ducktales, Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers, Talespin, Darkwing Duck and Gargoyles. I know there's a lot of now adult Disney fans who had these shows as their gateway drug into the fandom and it'd be nice to see them get the nod.

Kingdom Hearts...anything.- C'mon Disney, this is one of your...like, three big successes in games (The others being the Capcom developed NES games and Disney Infinity), give it some love. Or at least more than the one pin with Mickey in the black coat.

More non-Princess Walt era characters- Robin Hood, Merlin, Gepetto, Ludwig Von Drake....

Benjamin Clawhauser Meet and Greet- Sorry, he just looks so cuddly.

Pete Warner Meet and Greet- Same reason as Clawhauser

I have watched Gummi Bears as an adult. It actually holds up really well. More Disney Afternoon merchandise! I loved all the shows. Even my boys love old school Ducktales. I agree with the non princess meet and greets. I want to meet Ratagin!!!!!

Parents talking to their children about their day. Instead 90% of the time both Mom and dad are on their phones in line. I know that isn't what you wanted but it is something I see and think about all the time. It is just sad, they do no know how sweet that time is...

I would love to see Mr. Ray as a character. He could be stationary but his eyes could move around and his mouth open and close. Turtle talk with Crush for adults....no, not that kind of talk, just fun banter back and forth. Adult only dining in a couple of Signature restaurants maybe one night a week in an alternating rotation. MORE PLUS SIZE CLOTHING CHOICES FOR MEN AND WOMEN!!!

I completely agree with all of that- especially the appearances of more characters- and the first thing that popped into my head was Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers! A meet-and-greet or even just their occasional appearance in a parade would be awesome!

The do have the Disney Afternoon characters out occasionally - I know often at Run Disney event. I agree that maybe a character meal would be cool

I remember the old Jimmy Nutron ride at Universal which was a simulator that took you through a bunch of different cartoons - maybe something like that (guess Mickey's Philhamagic sort of does that - but use these properties)

Robin Hood is one of my absolute favorites so would also welcomed me more references than that

And keep the Adventurer's Club nods coming!

Yeah, that was Disney Afternoon, wasn't it? I remember mainly seeing it on Saturday mornings

I think you're probably right...most likely it was actually Saturday mornings pre Disney Afternoon days, but boy do I miss it!! I totally agree @superme80 I've watched it recently too, Gummi is Fraggle Rock quality!! I say bring it back!!

Yeah, it'd be nice. I know it's Disney, there's gonna be kids and I'm completely cool with that. But, it'd be nice to have a dining experience or two where I don't feel self conscious about drinking. (Blame it on a religious upbringing, I generally don't like drinking in front of kids.)

Good lord, yes. I'm just a 2XL and I have trouble. My husband wears a 3XL and it's a job of work to find shirts at the parks for him

I looked it up to be sure. It started on Saturday mornings on NBC, then moved to ABC for one year and then was part of the Disney Afternoons

Oh good, I'm not going crazy then. I know it was on Disney Afternoon when that block started (Before Darkwing Duck premiered, I think), but I knew I remembered watching it on Saturday mornings with my dad before Captain N:The Game Master came on

Well, as someone who likes to go out to nice restaurants with my family while on vacation I hope they don't take that too far. Maybe if instead of entire restaurants they make certain sections kid-free or something

I do find that if you go later there are a lot less families/kids - for example, if really clears out of families at California Grill after the fireworks

And, of course, there is always Victoria and Albert's

I met Scrooge and Launchpad during the Marathon Weekend 10K. Disney does acknowledge these characters but they are usually only out for special events.

I have to second these two in particular!

But in general, the non Princess characters. I know Black Cauldron is panned a lot (maybe not here) but I have such fond memories, and I'd love to meet Gurgy. (Munchings and crunchings in here SOMEWHERE!)

We waited for two shifts of characters (about an hour) to meet Robin Hood and the Sheriff (my wife really likes them) and I've always wanted to meet the Hatter (the good one like in DL). There must be space in Fantasy Land for M&G with unusual characters changing throughout the day.

Adventurers Club Again

An Emerald Club for QS. It's kind of like the fast lane airport security offers, only for those who know what they want, how to order, and how to pay. If you think your American Express card might work in this line, you don't belong.

Small electrodes that shock people sitting at a QS table without any food. 'Sorry, I didn't know you were holding this for your husband...he must be the guy holding up the line trying to carry 5 free glasses of ice water over here'.

Speaking of the free water, why not just have a line for water only at QS?

An exit from MK that doesn't involve walking away from the busses to get to the busses. This may have been fixed by now, but last summer five security officers had to stand there telling people to go towards the monorail to get to the busses.
