Mhm.
And a lot of the colleges are like community colleges. Most of the stuff they teach at the one where I live is like trade skills and such. It might not seem like it's too hard to get in, but some of the classes only have so many spots. Like say there's only 30 spots for a certain thing, meaning if you want to be a plumber or what have you, you want too look better than everyone else.
And sometimes with the limited amounts of spots, you can end up in the middle of nowhere (like round here, if you want to be an electrician, you end up in the boonies of Nova Scotia).
yep yep.
that's why i'm in a general arts programme instead of the theatre specialist programme that i wanted to be in. all the theatre programmes i applied for look only between 20-30 people (out of like hundreds of applicants) it's really elite and junk.
alot of programmes are like that. it's pretty icky.
