We have not ridden UOE since 2011!! We arrive on 8/12, and are hitting Epcot after dinner to ride FEA and I thought we would take one last spin on the UOE for old time's sake However....I know that it closes earlier than the rest of the park, is this doable? We have dinner at Beaches and Cream at 5 p.m. and our FEA FP is good until 8:10 My only concern if is the last UOE ride as at 6 we'll be out of luck unless we want to go back to Epcot before HS on the 13th! Not my preference, but doable as we are staying at Boardwalk Inn.......

As far as I know, it's open during all the "official" Future World operating hours - 9-7.

Right, I knew that, but I guess what I am wondering is does the last "train" leave at 7, or return at 7 and shut down the ride. I remember it being long, about 30 minutes or so but am not certain because it has been years since we have ridden it......If we arrive at 6:30 would we be able to catch a train? I don't think we could manage getting there before then because of our dinner reservation, and it's location relative to the International Gateway.

Generally, if you are online when an attraction "closes" you can ride it. If it is open until 7, and you are there by 7, you should be ok. Arriving by 6:30 should guarantee you a ride. (assuming the ride doesn't go down for some reason)

Great! This is what I am looking for, thanks. Do you happen to recall how long the actual ride is? I have not done it in so very long......but now that it's going away for good we want to do it one last time! But, we should be able to get there by 6:30 if we eat quickly .... but then again Beaches and Cream is the one place we NEVER skip dessert! Ha ha, even still, it shouldn't take us much more than an hour start to finish and we can hustle over there right after....hopefully leaving us plenty of time to get to FEA by 8. My daughter is anxious to have Ellen tell her how much she loves her hair . . . funny what kids remember!

It is about 45 minutes, and you can't leave. Be sure everyone goes to the loo before boarding.

I think it's about 40 min. Even with a 15 min (VERY slow) walk, you should get to frozen by 8 easily. But it might take a good half hour to walk from Beaches all the way to Ellen. It couldn't be any further from International Gateway.

I know....it is probably the longest walk possible from IG!! I am trying to remember how long it took us to walk from Boardwalk to Mission to Space in March as guestimate but can't for the life of me remember!! 30 mintues sounds like a long time, but it's possible, especially with a big 'ol kitchen sink in our bellies!!

I was thinking 10 min just to get to IT and in the park. 10 min to get to world showcase, 10 min to get from there to Ellen.
