So true…So we've proven that neither company has reasonable IT.
Somehow UOs has always been worse and it boggles my mind how it can be so bad and make dinseys look competentSo we've proven that neither company has reasonable IT.
Congratulations!UPDATE: I was going to shut down the app after being bounced back into the queue, then I saw this:

I was able to get tickets for both Memorial weekend and July.
The very first transaction went smoothly, I was able to purchase all 4 tickets in one transaction.
But, for each subsequent purchase I was only able to select one ticket at a time. So in order to buy 3 more days for four people, I had to have 12 transactions. The system also made me log into the account right before each payment.
Yeah, I guess they both struggle with managing high-demand events. This reminds me of trying to get tickets to a D23 convention or Oogie Boogie BashSo we've proven that neither company has reasonable IT.
Just my cellphone. What were you using technology wise if you don’t mind me asking.
Yeah, in general what you used. I tried my iPad and my cell and both have failed me…Just my cellphone.
Are you asking what type of phone I use?
Both Wi-Fi and mobile data were on. I have a foldable Samsung phone if that helps.Yeah, in general what you used. I tried my iPad and my cell and both have failed me…Wi-Fi and cellular…

With all due respect this is something that just about any company would have issues with; demand on servers and the like all at the same time. It happens to many different things when a ton of demand is suddenly put on something at one time.Looks like the line is paused at 6:10
Sorry for all the posts
I'm thinking they lost a lot of that good will today with this mess up. No email. Several hours earlier than expected. And its not even working.
They specifically stated there would be an email with more details - that will probable come some time later today. With all due respect this is something that just about any company would have issues with; demand on servers and the like all at the same time. You don't even want to know my experience trying to buy Garth Brooks tickets with Axis or whatever the company was, I kept getting looped on "are you a robot" stuff over and over and over though it finally worked.
I'm not saying don't be upset, I would be, but rather the "lost good will part". As far as email I wouldn't even think a company, any company, would send out one in this case announcing at 4am they are on sale, that only furthers the demand and would lead to more overloading. They might have put it earlier to lessen the demand on the servers. SWA for example doesn't have a consistent release time it can vary by several hours each time they release the schedule. They never announced a release time and I think it was just floated around here on this thread as a speculation.
With more details doesn't to me say they are announcing a release time. Says to me on how to purchase them or those types of details and often that comes later in the day. but FWIW check your spam but we all know how emails can go with companies how many times do people complain about not being notified about airline changes, of course I never fail to get an email from NextdoorThey specifically stated there would be an email with more details.
As for the issues - yeah to be expected - I've been building websites since the early 90s so I get that -= does not make me happy
I've waited overnight for Prince tickets for the Purple rain tour - there was a riot just before opening and a total mess - I was almost pushed through the glass doors at Sears - so getting looped on line is not so bad. (BTW - I still ended up with third row seats - quite an experience)You don't even want to know my experience trying to buy Garth Brooks tickets with Axis or whatever the company was, I kept getting looped on "are you a robot" stuff over and over and over though it finally worked.
yeah not even part of nextdoor and I get emails for someone - so I hear you on that. With more details doesn't to me say they are announcing a release time. If you've been building websites that long I'm shocked you'd say they lost good will , that's decades of understanding how it usually goes. I get it though it's frustrating and disappointing![]()
