We were originally planning our trip Sun to Sunday for 7 days. The hotel we booked for Disneyland is booked on the Friday/ Saturday of that week... all the hotels are booked or are expensive. we are looking at whether to cut our trip short & leave on Friday morning or stay Fri - Sun at another hotel.
I loved Universal Studios, but haven't been with my little ones (2, 32" tall & 4, 39" tall). May be too scary for them. If my little ones weren't with us, we would choose Universal. They're not tall enough for the height requirements. Are the holiday events worth seeing with little ones?
Would Knott's Merry Farms be better? We went to Knott's last year & after DL it was ok, but don't know if I can convince my husband to go back. I saw the blog on Merry Farms- great overview of the holiday events. Hubby wouldn't be into the crafts fair & demos.
Is the holiday show & decor better at Knotts or Universal?
As for the price, it looks like Knotts is half the price? Could only find Universal tix that were good for the whole year. Are there 1 day tickets for sale somewhere?
Another option might be Legoland, but it's an hour away. My girls play with legos, but not sure if they'd be really into it.
