Hello All,

I am planning a trip down to WDW in September for my girlfriend and I for the start of the Food & Wine Festival. We will be venturing over to Universal Studios for one day while we are there. I have already booked us at CSR with Free Dining. I am now looking at going down one day earlier and doing one of the Universal Vacation Packages. By doing this we can stay in one of the Universal Partner Hotels and receive Early Admission to the WWHP. My question is, do I have to use the tickets on my check-in or check-out day or can we just come back later in the week as we had already planned and still get early admission to WWHP? I will be driving down so transportation between Universal and WDW is a non-issue. The reason I would rather do this is because we will be doing a one day park to park ticket and I want to take advantage of lower crowd levels in the middle of the week vs attempting to do both parks on the weekend.

Can anyone provide some help or advice?

Sounds like you're wondering what actually gets you the early entry to Wizarding World? Wondering if it's the tickets, or something else.

I have no experience booking a package for Universal or staying offsite for Universal, but hopefully someone who has done a package offsite can come in and let you know what it is that you get with the package that gets you into WW.

If you book a package and stay at a partner hotel offsite you have to show your print out for the early entry, and that would only be during your stay. If you came back and used your ticket later on then you would not be able to do early entry.

Normally do not reccomend booking a package since booking everything seperate saves money and you have the flexibility to change things around if you found a better rate, etc.
