Welcome to the DIS!

What type of ticket are you planning to buy? As far as I know, Universal don't currently have any passes which must be used before a certain date. Most are activated on first use. We have just purchased Annual Passes and we opted for the 'will call' ceTicket.

Debbie, what are 'will call' ce tickets? I've virtually decided (I've been very indecisive) to buy x1 preferred annual pass, that gives us the free parking, and 3 annual power passes. The down side to the power passes is that there are 4 blackout days while we're there in August, but we'll still have 24 others to play with!

Ian,

You print out your order info, then when you get to the park you swipe the credit card you used in the ceOsk, enter your confirmation number and the machine prints your ticket.

Follow this link, go through the process as if you were going to buy a pass, and when you reach the ceTicket option, click on 'more info'.

Thanks Debbie, I'd much sooner pay only $2 extra for the ce tickets than $17 for international delivery of 'normal' ones.
Thanks again.

Never mind the blackout days these are the more crowded days so on these days you can relax. We bought the same tickets as you last year and they were great. As you have tickets you can go any day you like (apart from blackout days) you do not feel you are wasting an expensive ticket if you leave the park early. We went to the parks first thing in the morning then when the crowds started coming in we left for a dip in the pool and returned to the parks when the crowds left. There was npt the same amount of pressure when you buy say a 7 day world hopper and have to plan when youre using the 7 days. As a bonus not having to pay car parking is a big plus as well as the discounts at the shops
