Hi :)

Can anyone advise the best / cheapest way to buy Universal tickets please?

DD and I spend as much time, if not more, in Universal as Disney and we've always bought an annual pass in the past.....now
I seem to find they're only available to Florida Residents :confused3

Any suggestions?

Thanks :flower3:

Blimey, that's some price increase :scared1:

Thanks for the link - gonna have to have a think ;)

Are you a Costco member? Because they sell the tickets locally, I don't know how much they are these days but DH has phoned them before an they give all the info over the phone no trouble.

The price seems to have gone up everywhere for US tickets, I can only think it's due to WWoHP

Unfortunately not a Costco member Gem - I looked into it recently but don't think we'd ever even cover the admin fee :sad2:

I have to agree - who'd have thought HP could have made such a difference! :confused3

It says on the DIBB that Costco have stopped selling the cheap Universal tickets - probably not a good idea to bank on them. Try Undercover or Orlando Attractions for US tickets - both very good.

AP's are great value if you renew every year £100/year but to start again the 1st year is expensive unless you are getting it for a room discount.

How many days you planning in UNI/IOA? most popular ticket is the 14 day unlimited ticket you can get from about £82 (about same price as buying a 2 day ticket without hopping direct with Universal)

Might be worth buying just 1 AP to get free parking & discounts on food etc, I think parking is about $15/day now. Unless you are not driving then the 14 day tix will probably be better value.

Kenny's ticket thread but check for latest prices.

Thanks Wayne :thumbsup2

I think we'll be doing the 14 day passes this time.
We're only in Florida for 11 nights and don't envisage a return visit in the next year :sad2:

Think we were spoilt a couple of years ago when we managed to buy "2 years for the price of one" annual passes through our timeshare company and sneaked in a couple of holidays..........;)

They had stopped but I believe they recently started selling them again, I think I read a thread on the US boards about it recently.

Alison - I think you may be able to get a one day pass in the US Costcos as we have done that in previous years - this was a while ago though when they didn't have Costcos here.

HTH
