Universal Tickets Comcast employee discount (30%)

Does anyone have first hand information that employee needs to be onsite and show ID to get these discounted (not the free ones) tickets? In the ticketing option, it has will call kiosk/window? Can we use the card at Kiosk and pickup these tickets?

I know Universal employees have to go to the gate to buy the discounted tickets - it can't be done online. And they will need their badge/ID to get the discount. So, I'd presume Comcast employees would also have to be present with their proof of ID. They are very strict about it because they don't want people buying the tickets at the discount and then reselling them for profit.

Did you need the employee onsite or were you able to just get the ticktets from the kiosk?

The employee will need to be on-site at kiosk for tickets with badge and ID to pick up tickets. They are iron clad strict about this. I think they show their ID through turnstiles at main gate too, but I could be wrong about this. After that you should be fine. My SIL who used to live with us, works for Comcast/Universal.

good to know because it doesn't mention that. My brother can get discount tickets and was going to give them to me and said I can pickup at kiosk but I was unsure of it all and didnt want any issues.
