Universal Thanksgiving week

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie and can use some help. We are staying offsite near Disney and have 2 days for parks. Girls are 8 and 10. We are thrill seekers but have 1 that is not 54". Trying to figure out what to do and if Universal is possible without crazy lines the week of T'giving without the express pass. Don't want to have to pay the extra amount. Can it be done with 30-45 minute lines, do you think or should we just go to Disney and follow touring plans and do Fast Passes?

Your help is greatly appreciated and any previous links on this topic.

Lines don't get crazy until that weekend. If you're going before the holiday, the parks will be busy but nothing like the weekend. 30-45 minute lines should be about right leading up to the holiday.
