I haven't been to either and I have tickets to both. We're bringing a 10 year old boy, 9 year old girl and a 16 year old girl.

What all should we do, should we see, can't we miss?

any tips appreciated.

I would say other than the small childrens play areas, (fievel, etc), don't miss anything. Your kids probably won't want Barney either, but you may want to watch for something to do. Don't feel to old to do the rides in suess landing, they are for all ages. The shows are all entertaining and worth a look, especially the make up show. Try to hit everything as you'll be amazed at how cool the shows and rides are.

I agree...with kids those ages definitely try to hit everything with the exception of Barney.

Have fun!!

You will have a blast! Your kids are the perfect age for those parks!

Two words: Ghostbusters Show. :) If your daughter likes music and dancing, she might like Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue. Just check out some of the shows, they are all excellent. A lot of people skip them, and miss out on quality entertainment...and a break from long lines and (in some cases) the heat.

Is the Ghostbusters show still there? I thought it was gone. I was sad when I heard it was gone since I really wanted to see it again when we go in November. The last time I saw it was 9 years ago. If it is still there is it still the same?

Its still there. If it wasn't FlyFly would be under suicide watch, secluded and locked in her room watching home videos. I don't recall the old show, but the show we saw had four guy under a spell by beetlejuice being forced to dance and lipsinc songs. It was amusing and I'll take my girls to see it this trip.

Ghostbusters gone u had me going there I though there is a god and he aint Fly Fly:tongue: no seriously with your kids ages both parks will be a hit:jester:

Doesn't sound like the old ghostbusters show though. I hope i like the new one. I really loved the old one.

the current GB Show is VERY different from the old show...the new one is outdoors, and only 15 minutes long.

I'll say this much: thank goodness you'll be going in November....and not later than that... :o

Both parks will be great for your kids. Remember that Islands of Adventure has most of the "get wet" water rides which kids really enjoy. Do Universal in the AM when it isn't too, too hot, and then Islands in the afternoon when you need a cool down.

Either way, you'll have a great time, guaranteed.
