Universal Studios VIP Tours Questions?

We have 2 park annual passes for Universal and plan to go back this fall before they expire. So admission is covered.

We also will be staying at a Universal hotel, so we'll have FOTL access.

My questions:

What does the VIP tour consist of? Is there anything you can see here, that you wouldn't otherwise?

Since we'll have FOTL and admissions to the park covered, are there any reasons to do the VIP tour?

The tour, depending on which one you take, takes care of all the planning you have before you go to the park.

There are no lines to speak of. Nada. With staying at the resort, you have a shorter line, but, on tour, you have NO line.
