Does anyone have any tip on getting into one of those interactive
kid gameshows (slimetime live) in the Nickelodeon Studios.

My DS's would be ssssooooo excited if they could be the one's to get slimed on TV.

I read along time ago that you needed to line up very early to get a ticket and the they shoot the show later around 2:00 pm!!

Not sure if they still do the "slime" tour at the studio but they did when my now 24 year old was 10.
He stood in front with the tour guide as they showed how they make the slime. He asked a question, I think it was something like what food coloring or how did they come up with green as the color. But he got the guides attention.
Then when the guide asked who would like to be slimed he jumped up and down with the rest of the kids. My other 2 boys one older, one younger, were there also but they picked my son who had asked the question.
Definately have her move to the front with the kids, and try to ask a question. Then make a fuss when they ask, don't stand there with just her hand raised.
And don't forget to bring your camera. This was our last attraction of the day and I had run out of film. I never thought one of my boys would be picked. So I don't have a photo of him in the little pool being slimed. Peggie

About 10 years ago my daughter was picked. She wasn't loud or anything just sitting up front in the kids section.I had her in the cutest dress and spent forever doing her hair with ribbons etc.Well it took me forever to get all the slime out of her hair but she loved it and we got to sit up front in seats that said slime parents.

Well, Slime Time Live is really POPULAR! my 10 year old son would absolutely KILL to be able to get on it though. You DEFINATELY need to arrive early to get the best seating and from what I hear, the ones that make the big fusses are not the ones they generally pick. Some of the new things like Shrek 4D and Jimmy Neutron cause big lines too. If you want to get slimed remember to go to the studio audience center to reserve your tickets and GOOD LUCK!

My children absolutely adore Slime time live and one of the highlights of our Orlando vacation was going to be trying to get on to the show. So I called Universal Studios to inquire about if taping will be taking place during our trip December 12-19, I was told that Nickelodeon only does no more then 6 seasons of any given show, due to the popularity of Slime time live they ran this show for the past 9 seasons and therefore the last taping will be taking place on October 26 (I believe that was the exact date, I know it was in October). I also inquired about the tours and the person I spoke with (very accommodating and willing to help) told me that as far as they know Nickelodeon will continue giving the at this time. She also said that all tough she knows of no plans as to what show will replace the STL the Macy's Parade will be held at Universal Studios starting December 12 and running through Christmas. I hope this helps, if you find out any other information please let me know!
