Does anyone know if you can upgrade your City Pass ticket to USH to a Front of Line pass? And if so what is the cost difference? Or can you just buy a front of line add on? And if so what is the cost?

Thanks!

I want to buy a city pass, but I want to be able to "upgrade" to the front of the line pass. Does anyone know what the chances are that you will be able to "upgrade" on the day you are visiting the park or how fast they sell out at the front gate. I am visiting the park on Good Friday in March ....

Thanks in Advance for the help!!

We went to USH last Tuesday, 11/20. The area with the board that showed prices for all types of ticket & upgrade options showed $35 for a Front of the line pass, or $25 for a Front of the line pass good after 2pm. I didn't ask about this, but it appeared that once you are in the park all tickets are viewed equally, and the cost for the FOTL pass is the same no matter how you entered the park. It absolutely was not needed for the date we were there, no wait time was more than a few minutes.

Also, you use your CityPass booklet directly at the entrance gate to enter, they viewed the coupon as a ticket. You don't have to go through will call, or to a ticket booth first. We bought the Citypass through Costco, and it worked out great for us.

I agree. We went on 12/28 and walked directly on most of the rides. The only thing we waited for was Backdraft (due to show schedules) and the Backlot tour (waiting for a tram). None of the other rides were full. In fact there were only 4 people on the Mummy with me and we had the option to keep riding as many times as we wanted.

We ate dinner at the Hard Rock afterwards and our waitress told us that visitation is really low for USH and they are trying everything to get visitation up. The promotion that was going on at that time was buy one day get a free annual pass for 2008. We had gotten a free day and the kids free and had plans to spend two days there (even after being adv on this board there was nothing to do). We spent five hours there, really only enjoying about 2.5 and did not go back for the second day.

Back to the question, you may not need the FOL pass. Though it may be busy on Good Friday.
