We are going to universal studios Hollywood at the end of our Disneyland trip on wed june 4 (we will be at DLR on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday) and was wondering if the front of the line pass would be worth the upgrade since we will only be there for one day. We are traveling as a family of 7 (DS3 DS8 DD8 DS12 DD12). We are hoping both parks would not be too busy since it's the first week of June but we don't really know. Any info or help is appreciated. On a side note, universal website only has the front of the line pass for sale good until end of March? Weird...

personally, i dont think theyre that fanstastic - not like Disney fastpasses anyway. you'd have to make sure everyone in your party has one. when i went to universal for one day in june 2012 or when i went for one day oct 2013, both times the lines were reasonable, (both times i did the lower lot first)

i guess it just depends on how beneficial you think they would be for you - but if they are on a really good sale then why not.

have a great time

Not weird.

There will be a general ticket price increase before April to coincide with their new ride and mini land: Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem and SuperSilly Funland, both of which open on April 10th. They're also building (yet to be announced) Springfield, which is expected to open by July.

And Universals Front of Line passes are dynamically priced depending on time of year, so its not uncommon to see them only sell the passes up to a certain date.
