Universal Studios for those who can't do stairs?

Hi all-

I'm having a family member visit from Japan in a few weeks & he can walk slowly but can't climb stairs. I was wondering if the rides, especially the tram/movie set tour ride, has a step up into the tram.

Also, if anyone has any opinions about weather renting an ecv vs a standard wheelchair for the trip would be appreciated.

Every attraction is accessible. The exceptions might be
the walk through Monsters Maze, but even that is, I
think, wheelchair accessible.
