Universal Studios day trip from Disneyland

In order to get the most out of this trip would it make more sense to go on a weekday where the crowds are less and the traffic is greater or on a weekend where it might be more crowded but the traffic is less of a factor?

Are you asking if you should go to Universal during the weekend or a weekday? If so, then I'd pick that you should go on a weekday even though there's traffic.

Traffic really isn't that bad, it's summer kids are out of schools and College, Gas prices are so high that everyone is on the bus or commuter train.

The traffic really is the lightest I've seen in years. and I've been in LA for 10 years now.
