I saw the number started with 407, and I thought it would be a tele-marketer.

It was a customer service rep from Universal Studios.

Earlier in the day, I e-mailed a question to them on their website.
My dh will be dropping me off at Universal Studios for the day, and then coming back around to pick me up. I haven't been to Universal since 2000 and I only remember this large parking structure and then walking over to Universal. I wanted to know where he could drop me off.

So, when my phone rang, she asked for me, and then told me where to go. Then she asked me, when I was coming, what day, Thursday, and she told me that would probably be a good day, since many locals come on the weekend. I told her I won a voucher during the superbowl sweeps and she told me I could use any ticket window, or if I come early enough to just go to Guest Services and exchange my voucher for a ticket.
Then she said, she is going to mail me out some park maps, and a map of Universal City Walk, since my dh will be coming for the evening and we should pick something to do.

She also told me about a light show that starts at 9:00 p.m. and said it shouldn't be missed.

I'm sure I would of learned all this on the Universal Board, but I just found out we are going down to Orlando for a convention my dh is attending. I am used to planning trips at least 18 months in advance. The planning is making my head spin.

DH would echo the do-not-miss sentiment on the light/fireworks show. I'm neutral on it myself, but he loves it. Worth a look-see if you're there late enough.

:thumbsup2 That is good service, we called them twice last year as I was very confused about the stay and scream for HHN. I just wanted to be sure we had the right tickets, but the girls were lovely and reassured me we would be fine. And we were :)

On the subject of light/firework shows, will there be anything like that going on in August? I think the parks may start to close earlier when we arrive, the 14th. :)

The same thing happened to me - I e-mailed them & shortly after a customer service rep called me. I was very impressed & appreciative. Way to go Universal :yay:!

What?? You mean they didn't put you on hold for 45 minutes, when you were just trying to make a dinner reservation at one restaurant, like that park with the mouse? ;)
