Don't think I'm sitting in shorts and tank top here....it's a freezing 69 degrees!! With a bit of wind....brrrrrrrrr.....if that's not bad enough...it's gonna get down to 51 degrees tonight!

BRRRR!! In Orlando today...it was freezing!!! LOL it was windy which was why it seemed so cold. I was wearing jeans and a sleeveless top (now, I had a jacket, but...didn't want to wear it...was being stubborn...lol). OH! Gotta write my review! Sorry, was just trying to catch up!!!

heh...Selina, let's just say....it's one of those things that will never be okay.

Umm....don't mention it out of this thread b/c I'm not even supposed to say (because not even all my family knows yet) and my mom DOES read these boards (with exception to the Chat threads and the "Drool Over GBs" thread.)

Well, my cousin called my mom and told me that my mom's oldest sister's youngest son was murdered. He was missing for a month and was just found. I never met him, but, I'm very close to that aunt and I feel extremely bad for her. We're making sure she comes over for Christmas this year b/c my mom knows what it's like to lose a son, and my aunt should be with someone who understands...or else she'd be alone for Christmas.

Well, they found the man (or at least know who he is) that murdered my cousin.

Oh a lighter subject, I'm getting my mom's boss and his wife and daughter to go to Universal before Christmas. Told them they HAVE to see the Holiday GB and Blues Brothers Shows, as well as take their daughter to Grinchmas. They might be going the same day as one of the days we'll be there...I hope so...I want to see their reaction to the GB show...LOL

Thanks Jodie...I just worry about how my aunt is handling everything. My mom wants to see the victim's brother who will be heading to North Carolina for the service (since my cousin lived in N. Carolina). Bad thing....it's this weekend. I'm hoping I can work something out with my parents so I can still go to Universal on Saturday...

I don't want to go to the service...I hate funerals....

My condolences on your families loss FlyFly. It is a strange world in which we live, and hopefully things like these help us appreciate what we have even more.

As for the cold front coming overseas Selina, you don't want it. It was 9 degrees outside last night.

I'm extremely bummed...not only may I not be able to go to Universal, but Stepharoonie will see the show w/o me to see her reaction, AND I get to be among a bunch of crying people (many I have not even met, even though they are family...so it will be SOOOO awkward).

I was already in a bad mood today...don't know why...but this just made things worse....

Flyfly.....a bit shocked by your post! This is your mum's sister's child - her nephew!! Your mum must be extremely upset. How can you even think of a GB Show. For God's sake - and moaning on about all the "crying people". I'm sorry - but I do not understand your attitude at all.

Selina -- it was out of anger...I'm not really that coldhearted. I was just in a bad mood and was fuming and saying things I didn't mean. No, I would have still rather gone to Universal, but not to be a b!tch...I didn't know my cousin...it's just like someone I read in the news paper. I'm saddened by it...but...I only feel bad b/c of how it will affect my aunt. It's the same thing as my cousins on my dad's side of the family...they didn't even come for my brother's funeral because they didn't know him that well. Not one single cousin came...out of 8. All their parents came.

And believe me, I don't want to be around the crying people...brings back horrible memories...I'll feel like I'm at a repeat of my brother's own funeral...I shudder at the thought. I don't know, it's really hard to explain Selina...it's not meant to be such a cruel statement.
