I will be heading to Disney World in late Sept for 9 days with my GF and we are planning on visiting Universal and Islands of Adventure while we are there. Can both parks be completed for the most part in one day if you arrive at opening and stay until closing on a Tuesday? Or should we just plan on taking two days to see the parks?

late September, pay a little extra for the Express Pass Plus. you can do both in 1 day. I don't recommend it, but you can do it. you'll miss the detail, but hit the big attractions.

Remember the parks also close earlier do IOA first as its mainly rides and some shows in USO don't start till 11.30am but as stated if its your first visit u will miss a few things

Definitely 2 days! Don't rush them, they are two very good parks. We were there off peak and still needed two full days to do it all :moped: .

I would take 2 days. I can't see it being alot of fun rushing from one attraction to another all day long and you will miss so much. They have some great shows at both parks.

You certainly can do it. Especially since you don't have kids with you (I'm assuming). I just did it with me, hubby and 8 year old daughter. No express pass either. If schools are in session, and it's not on a weekend, it can be done. IF you're going on a weekend, splurge and buy the express passes.

Its possible but pretty rushed. We have been to Universal/IOA several times and the one time we did 2 parks/1 day we felt so rushed. Its much for fun to have a day in each park so you can hit everything you want and not rush around like madman.

It would be just myself (33) and my girlfriend (27) so I was thinking we could pass some of the younger things at both parks while still getting to the big attractions at both parks. The only reason I am thinking of doing two parks in one day is so that I have another free day to go to Sea World. Make sense? Or is that too agressive? The entire length of my trip is 10 days 9 nights. We would likely go to Sea World and Universal/IOA on weekdays (we will be in Walt Disney World from Sept 22-Oct 1)

It's better if you do it in 2 days. 2 days usually allows you to see pretty much everything. 1 day for each park is best.

We are doing two parks in one day this coming saturday March 19th..but we are Power Pass Holders and this is a very short trip (only one day for Universal fits in this trip). I splurged and bought the Express Passes for both parks as I know it will be very crowded.

Even if you have never been there before I am sure if you keep moving you can see the big attractions in one day. I do recommend Express Pass though for faster touring..... :sunny:

Being that I am going most likely on a Tuesday in late September, do you still think I will need the express passes or will the lines be light enough that they will not be needed? Most likely I would do Islands of Adventure first... One other thing I have to keep in mind is that the parks will probably close at 6 PM this time of year. The one main reason I am looking to do both parks in one day is to have a day for Sea World...

Thanks!

Thanks for the info! After reading over the attractions at the parks and being that I have been to Universal before, I figure it can be done in one day that time of year. We will not really have much time to rest most likely, but when do you really rest when visiting Orlando??? Thanks for the feedback...

Exactly my theory....you do not go to Orlando to REST!!!!..You can rest anytime when you are not on vacation... :sunny:
