I was looking at the map and list of rides and shows at Universal Studio Park, and correct me if I am wrong, but it seems that one could easily see everything in one day with the hotel express pass. Am I assuming correctly?

depends on the family.

if you do every ride, every show, every character meet up, check out the shops, eat, it would be more than a full day.

if you only want to do certain rides, of course it can be done on one day.

i always say there are more to the parks than just the rides.

if you go in the low season, the hours are shorter.
you couldn't do it all in one day if you took in everything in the park.

everyone tours parks differently.

for me, i can do AK in a half day.
others might say it takes them two full days to do that park.
what i find entertaining, others might not.

Depends..If you don't want to see and do everything, quite possibly. We didn't see it all in one day..Remember alot of the shows only run a couple of times during the day, and some of them are at the same times( example when we were there Beetlejuice, Horror makeup and the animal show were all at 1230.Beetlejuice had only one other show that day and Horror makeup and Animal actors had a few other showtimes). So it makes it harder .Granted we were there during a slower time of year with an early park closing (6pm) but we didn't get to it all in one day

You could do just about everything with the unlimited Express but shows have set times so you'd have to plan for those. It would obviously be easier when the park is open late but could be rather tough if it closes early. Having the unlimited Express access should make for a relaxing vacation so you don't want to rush just because of Express.
