Universal/Royal Carribean Combo Vacation

I need advice...we're travelling to Florida mid-March...me, DH, DD8, DS13...we've done Disney twice but never Universal...

I have a few questions...

1) Have any of you booked the Universal/Royal Carribean Vacation package?

It includes the cruise, hotel, park tickets for 7 days ("park hopper") and all transfers. Basically you're saving money on the transfers...but you can't extend the number of nights at Universal...I tried and would have to book that seperately...I'm not sure how that would work at the hotel...

2) Does the combo vacation include early entry to Harry Potter if you stay onsite? We'll be at RPH.

3) Would it be better to book seperately?

Please help!

I don't know anything about that deal, so this will be generic.

Just staying onsite gets you early entry to HP. We have a room only reservation to RPR and we'll be getting early entry. We did have the HP package, but realized we were paying more for things we didn't need. Came down to a meal at the 3 broomsticks (with a menu that does not appeal) and the commemorative tickets (which we don't need)...went to room only and if we'd gotten a standard room we would have saved ourselves some money (as it was, we bumped up to club level LOL).

I would check ALL the prices to make sure you're getting the best deal you can get!
