Universal restaurants and allergies?

I know DW does a great job with food allergies. Is the same true for US?

We have found them to be excellent, anyone we asked about fairly minor allergies it`s been addressed very quickly.

We have friends who have three children, two have serious allergies, one life threatening. They are very proactive and contacted Universal directly a month before there first trip initially.

They found them to be brilliant and someone called them back immediately and then again about four days before their trip began. They had no issues on any of their now three trips to Universal.

They included both parks, Citywalk and the hotel options too in their conversations.

Universal is getting better with allergies but they aren't on par with Disney (and I'm a huge universal fan). You have to be very proactive with them and do your research. Some restaurants are better than others so don't plan on just eating anywhere.

The two restaurants near WWOHP are great and so is Thunder Falls Terrace near Jurassic Park. In CityWalk, Margaritaville is great. Hard Rock is my second choice. I've heard great things about Mythos but we've never been. I had a really bad experience at a Seuss area restaurant once so now we plan our day to eat far away from it
