Universal resorts

I was checking out the universal orlando page the other day and looking at the 3 hotels that have there. Anyone all 3 of them stated that you can bring your dog/cat etc with you and that they can stay in your room etc.... Does anyone know about this? or How can I find out more info?

I stayed 4 nights at Portofino Bay a couple weeks ago and there was a lady walking a small dog every morning. I saw another smaller dog there too.

The 3 Universal onsite resorts are owned by Loews HOtels which allow small pets in their hotels. There may be an extra fee for the pet, I would guess.

Try posting this on the Universal Board. Several months ago, there was an exhaustive thread on this topic. If the search function if working, you may be able to find it. I'm not sure about the other two hotels, but I saw a program on the Hard Rock Hotel, and they have special treats for the pets that stay there. I don't remember there being an extra fee, but I may be wrong.

I thought it would be neat to take "the kids" with us on our next trip.
