Universal resorts - when can we book?

Hi all,

We're planning a trip to orlando in september 2013 and want to stay at a universal resort for 2 -3 nights, and then move on to disney.

We already boloked our stay in disney, but can't book for universal.
does anybody know when it will be possible to book our stay at universal?

Also, we want to stay 5 days in orlando before going to disney, but only 3 days visit at universal parks. is it worth staying all 5 days at a universal resort, or should we move to another cheaper hotel?

You should be able to book in the fall. They haven't released 2013 dates yet online other than the first week of so of January. Don't worry about it. There is no hurry and any promo deals won't be out for a while yet. Universal doesn't run the onsite hotels, Loews does and that is the way they do it.

If you can afford it, I'd stay all five days at Universal and make it your central headquarters. It is a beautiful place!
