We're going to Universal for the first time with my 2.5 year-old DS who has Down syndrome. He cannot walk or stand, but is too heavy to hold for long periods of time in line. We use our stroller as a wheelchair and get a pass at Disney. I assume that I should go to guest services at Universal and get a similar pass. Are there any queues where it would be an issue taking the stroller through the line? Specifically, we'd like to do rider swap on the Harry Potter rides.
Also, does anyone have any suggestions on what to do for the long waits in line? Does Universal have a pass where we can go back at a certain point so we don't have to wait in the line? My understanding is that they require the children to wait in line for Rider Swap, unlike Disney (which has worked perfectly for our situation). I'm really nervous about this because I cannot see him doing well in an hour line (he is a screamer), but we're going with a few other people (9 of us total) and I'm not sure how to make it work so that my husband and I will both get to go on the rides. Tips or advice? Thanks!
