I went for the first time to Universal a few months ago. We wanted to see Harry Potter world. It seemen to take forever to walk from the parking garage, through the terminal, through City Walk to even get to the entrance. Did we do this right? Was there a way to get to the entrance of the parks without doing City Walk? If you stay at a hotel onsite do you get transportation to the entrance or do you still have to walk through City Walk? How do you get from one park to the next. Do they have transportation to take you between the 2 parks?

If you're driving, you did it right. The only way to get to the parks from the parking garage is through CityWalk. If you're staying onsite, you can take the boats or rickshaws to the parks. IOA and the Studios are located right beside each other so there is no need for transportation between the two.
