does universal offer any type of fast pass?
Thinking of going for kids spring break and thinking will be crowded there.

Thanks

If you stay at one of the 3 deluxe Universal resorts, Unlimited Express Pass for each person staying in the room comes with it, including both check-in and check-out dates. Sometimes it might be cheaper to book a room versus purchasing EP for everyone in your party/family.

There's also an EP advantage at some shows and some restaurants.

Wow thanks. Yeah looks like extra 87 a person. So might be cheaper to book hotel ur right. Does Harry Potter rides work with unlimited express pass?

There is a participating rides/attractions tab on the link I posted.

We went this past March (our spring break in Alabama) to US/IOA for 4 nights/3 days. We did not purchase the express passes (I felt they were way too expensive). Thankfully did not need them. We got to parks at opening each day, rode every ride - some with no waits at all. The Harry Potter rides and Jurassic Park were the longest but none exceeded 40 minutes. Minions, for some crazy reason, has an incredibly long wait time by mid day so if you want to do it, get it done first (which is easy to do as its just inside the main entrance).

Also, if the deluxe Universal hotels are too expensive and you don't necessarily want the Express Pass, you could also book a cheaper Universal Hotel and those allow 1-hour early entry to one of the parks every day. Not sure what is open early but I believe Harry Potter stuff for sure. That way you could do the Harry Potter stuff during that early entry and then move on once the rest of the park opens up. You will be 'ahead' of the regular crowds since you have Harry Potter out of the way.

I did this at Universal Hollywood last year the week before Christmas. Booked with a 'partner' hotel to receive the early entry. Of course, HP in LA is smaller than Orlando. But we were done with HP quick, riding the ride walk-on a couple of times, even before regular hours started. I had debated getting the front-of-the-line pass, but I'm glad I didn't. The early entry was enough to keep us ahead. We were able to get everything done that we wanted in 1 day. Of course, Hollywood is smaller than the 2 parks in Orlando.

The deluxe hotels are also eligible for early entry.

If you are going during peak times (e.g., the week between Christmas and New Years) when regular wait times can creep up to over an hour and half for rides like Despicable Me, Skull Island, Gringotts, Transformers, and Forbidden Journey, and if you can swing it, get the EP. I'm going during Christmas and bit the bullet to stay at RPR which includes 2-Park EP and Early Entry.

Smart man...you won't regret it.
