Universal Price Increase?

I think I know the answer but want to ask anyway. Does Universal normally raise their prices at the same time as Disney? With this weekend's expected price increase for Disney, I'm wondering if Universal will follow also. Thanks!

Pretty much guaranteed that when Disney goes up, Universal follows.

Understood. I was just curious if there was a rush to get them in before the price hike. My understanding is that Disney and Uni have been raising ticket prices annually in Feb but that doesn't necessarily mean AP prices will go up. The last time that happened at Uni was Aug 2016. Odds are that means the AP price won't go up this weekend, but I guess we won't know for sure until it does or does not happen.

Once you purchase an AP, is there a limit on how long before you have to activate it?

When I called US with this question, the rep said you have one year to activate the AP from date of purchase.
