Will be moving into RPR tomorrow morning. Hoping to get early park admission with FOTL.
Could anyone who has been recently, suggest a plan of attack to maximise the new Harry Potter experience. It's been 3 years since we last visited the park are not familiar with the new park layout

Thanks :thumbsup2

The only real plan we have for when we get there is to arrive at the Universal gates for 6am in order to minimise the wait for Gringotts!

Harry Potter spans BOTH parks now.

If you want to do the older stuff at (Hogwarts, Hogsmede, Forbidden Journey, Dragon Challenge, Flight of the Hippogriff, Ollivanders), then you should enter Islands of Adventure and head toward The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

If you want to do the newer stuff, i.e. Diagon Alley, Gringotts, you need to enter Universal Studios and head toward London.

The Hogwarts Express connects both parks' Harry Potter "areas", from Kings Cross in Universal to Hogsmede in Islands. You can use this if you have a two-park ticket.

Plan of attack? Arrive well before the early access opening for Universal, check in at your hotel. Hit Universal first, try for a second early start the next day from IOA. Regardless, expect long waits.

Your FOTL passes won't help much with HP. They aren't valid on Forbidden Journey, Gringotts, the Hogswarts Express or Ollivanders.

Thanks to all
Looks like an early trip to London then. :thumbsup2
