I'm sending my 7yr old DS and DH to Universal for two days while on our vacation in late October. I'm just wondering what type of passes I should be buying for them. We plan to attended SW as a family during this trip too, but the Universal is just the two of them.

Any help on anything regarding Universal would be great. None of us have ever been there before!!

Thank you!

Since it's just the two of them and they are going for two days, just get the 2 day/2 park unlimited tickets. If you thought they might want to go back for a third day, the seven day tickets are the cheapest way to go.

Great -- thank you. Do you know of any specials being run on the 2day/2 park tickets right now? We aren't traveling till late October.
Thank you again!

If you get the mousesavers newsletter, there is a link on the newsletter to get the 2 day/2 park ticket through a corporate promotion through ticketmaster. There is a promo code you have to use to purchase. I think the 2 day/2 park ticket is $ 75.00 plus tax

honestly, i wouldn't buy anything yet; especially if u haven't purchased ur SW tix yet.

over past 2 summers, ive seen lots of different deals/specials @ Universal, they seem to tweak their prices way more often than WDW

the way the economy is, u never know what they'll announce between now & then

in spring of '06 i bought the 7 day AAA tix @ local agency & upgraded them @ gate (along w/a coupon i got from local drug store) getting BOGO year free PAPs (2 year pref annual passes)...they have more than paid for themselves:banana:

that said, i have 3 'spare' 7 day tix i bought last fall from AAA for $60 something a piece before the rate increase sitting in my safe awaiting a rainy day:) . DH thought i was nutz, imo; i've already made over 30% on my investment:thumbsup2 , lot better than the market.

OT :rolleyes1 (re SW tix) do u know if the southwest tix offer is the best deal currently for a day(or 2) this summer?
