Universal Partner Hotels

We stay at these but have never taken advantage of the discounts offered as a result (I've never spent $50 in a store there!) but should really - especially the food/drink offers. The Universal website is exceptionally vague so I wondered if someone could answer a couple of questions?

1. What are the 'select locations' both in the parks and (more importantly) in City Walk where you can receive these discounts?
2. What do you have to do to receive the discounts?

Sorry...I don't stay in the hotels since I live here but I'm sure someone will come along and offer their opinions. I just didn't want you to think we were ignoring you.

The only Universal partner hotel I have stayed at is The Doubletree at the entrance to universal on Major blvd and the ony discounts I can remeber is 10% off merchandise which I used inside the park stores and you just had to show the sleve they give you to put your room key in but never tried it at restaurants at citywalk cause I always used my AAA card.

Thanks; we will be dining at certain places at Universal anyway, so I will just show my room card and see if it gets me anything off. It seems to be over $50 is the 'golden mark' for getting the discount; we don't usually meet this amount anyway.
