I could have sworn I'd seen that there's a Universal Studios Outlet in Orlando, but I can't find it on any of the outlet's websites. Did it close?
On a tangental note, how is the Hard Rock outlet?

AFAIK, was never one in Belz/Prime. There was one in the Premium Outlets that closed 2 to 3 years ago. Now there is one in Festival Bay, but honestly, you don't see a lot of good deals--mostly same prices as in the parks.

If you happen to be in the Studios, there is a tiny outdoor shop to the right of the exit turnstiles that sells discontinued merchandise at a discount. That's where you'll find the best deals.

Hard Rock Outlet, at Lake Buena Vista Outlets, has some really good deals. However, very rarely will it be "Orlando" HRC--it's merchandise from all over. Not a big store, but worth 2 minutes if you're in the area anyway.

I didn't know that Belz closed! I guess that it's a good thing that we never went. ;)

I guess that I'll delete my link. Weird that the website for Belz looks normal and does list a Universal store....

This is wonderful information for me. I love to go shopping. I love outlets and flea markets! Any additional information of these would be great! Thanks again.

Personally...I like the Premium Outlets down near Disney on Vineland Road...it's a good size shopping center and has LOTS of stores.

We found a lot of reduced merchandise (T-shirts for $9.99 and NICE ones) at the store that is connected to the Christmas Shop right inside the entranceway of Islands of Adventure, on the right hand side.

The Universal Studios store outlet is at the corner of International Drive and Oakridge Road. I forget the name of it right now but they have a movie theatre and Outdoor World in that same spot.

We visited the outlet in the Festival Bay Mall and thought they had some good deals. We got a Royal Pacific Resort t-shirt for 4.99 and a Dueling Dragons tshirt for 4.99 and a Mummy flashlight toy for 6.99.

then you were lucky, because most of the time when I have gone in there, I found it to be just as Jason71 said. I end up only buying in the Parks on the way out..at their "outlet". I am also an AP holder and in the Parks they give you your AP discount, at that outlet store in Festival Bay they don't. So I end up saving more in the Park :thumbsup2

I thought the HRC Outlet closed but apparently they just moved locations. :rolleyes1

They did actually close, but then they reopened months & months later at at new location and new managment.. so the old store really did close. The store polices are not the same and neither are the prices. They are still decent prices, but nothing like the old store!

If you did go, you would have ended up in the new outlet Mall anyway. All they did was tear down the Beltz Outlet, build the new one & re-name it. Prime One Outlets are the old Beltz Outlets... same location, same stores just new style set up.. instead of an indoor set up, it is an out door.. very nice too....:thumbsup2 and many new stores were added. Here is their link....

besides enjoying theme parks, I am a shopaholic. I live in SW FL but go to Orlando to do all my main shopping :rotfl2: For the last 2 Black Fridays, instead of going to my home area, I went to Orlando  My sister and I are making a new Thanksgiving tradition... our family goes to the parks, we shop ;)
