Universal orlando becoming a competitor?

The last time I was at US was one month before IOA opened. We were pretty much burned out on US because every time we went rides were closed or intermittently down. One trip was so bad, every person leaving the gates was given a voucher for a free return on a future day.

I am not a HP fan but am interested in seeing that area. We are thinking of adding a couple of days on our next trip there. Hope they don't disappoint!

It is good you are giving it another try. You will be surprised, I think. As for not being a HP fan, that really should have no bearing on being able to enjoy the incredible theming and attractions. Being a fan of Harry may enhance those folks enjoyment a little but honestly how many people were Song of the South fans BEFORE Splash Mountain?

Exactly. As long as you don't hate fantasy, The Wizarding World should be lots of fun!

You mean like the whole Simpson's land refurbishment that will include Moe's Tavern, Krusty Burger, Kentucky Fried Panda and a new flat spinner ride that's themed to Kane and Kodos on the waterfront?? There will also be food trucks in the new "Springfield" refurbishment.

Or the rumored new ride going in at Jurassic Park after Transformers is completed?

:thumbsup2

It's KANG...and I hope this new ride is more than just an off-the-shelf spinner like Dumbo/Triceratops Spin/Aladdin's Magic Carpets. Kang and Kodos are two of my favorite characters (right behind Cletus, Willy and Moe).

I'm sure it will just be a themed spinner. Not too terribly much you can do with a spinner.... and there isn't a lot of room.
