The Air Miles site is now showing that the Tickets for Universal Orlando expire Jan 2008! I would not have ordered last week if I knew they expire so soon.
I just spoke to Air Miles and they are checking to see if the tickets do expire.

I ordered them last week and received them today in the mail. Read all the fine print and it only has the date of transaction. I have the 7 day 2-park ones. I do not see Jan 2008 anywhere on the ticket! Perhaps too many people got in on the deal and Universal had to end it.

I just checked Airmiles rewards and I could not find tickets available for Orlando Universal. It only shows the Hollywood tickets and they do expire Jan 2008!

Here is the Universal Studios Orlando Florida ticket offered by airmiles.

You have to go to Family Attractions US Amusement Parks to find it.

The cost now is 690 reward miles last week it was 475 because it was a deal of the week.

Universal Studios Florida - Adult - 2 Park Unlimited
690 reward miles

This is not related to Universal, but you do have to be careful with passes ordered from Airmiles. Some amusement passes are computer print-outs that are scanned at turnstiles... those generally expire one year after "purchase" date. There are others that are the actual passes, and these have their own expiry dates printed on them.

I orderd Legoland passes for my DDs last year in January for a trip we were going on in March. I wanted to order early because they always say 2-6 weeks delivery to be safe (even though I always get mine the same week). The online description said they were good for a year. Well, not many people must order these and apparently the items get picked from a shelf and are not double-checked before putting them in the envelope. One pass expired in April, the other expired in February... and we were going in March! Airmiles wouldn't help me at all. They said I would have to courier the tickets at my expense, and they would send new passes (not credit my account) when received and checked. But, they couldn't tell me who to send the tickets to... just a general address, so they couldn't guarantee when and if that would happen. Plus, they couldn't guarantee that the new picker would check the dates on the remaining in-stock passes.

I decided to call Legoland customer service and they said they would accept them no problem if I brought my airmiles "order/packing" slip that had the 2007 date on it. They had supurb customer service.

I know that was off-topic, but you do have to look at the dates carefully.

Mine came in the mail today. I just checked them and there is no expiry date on them. I've ordered different tickets from airmiles before. Passes for WDW - they were great, passes for African Lion Safari and Science Centre each had expiry dates on them. Check the fine print before ordering and hold on to your receipt as the PP suggests.

There is no expiration date on my ticket either!

It's the Hollywood Universal tickets that seem to expire Jan. 2008.
