I read back with the mixed reviews of the GAC service Universal offers. With Chris' seizures out of control still should we pay for the express pass option for our group or just hope for the best when we get there? It would cost us about $100 for the 5 of us. Worth it imo but unfortunate since it is a no choice exense KWIM?

We had no problem getting theirs, I think it was called GAP, pass in January. I was even issued it the day before without my son being with me. Same as WDW, I just had to explain his issues as to why we needed it. It is dated, so it was only good the day we went. At each place the "CM"s were very helpful, even when we wanted to do only half of one attraction, they told us how to exit in the middle and folks walked us the entire way.

Basically they gave us the Express Pass for our family for free.

Cool. We like to teach Chris to wait since he normally doesn't have a problem with that BUT we have to leave the line if he has a seizure and then to wait again would make a 5 hour event to do one attraction. :( It really stinks that we can't get the seizures to stop. This has been his longest bout yet :( 7 months without control :( Thanks for your input :)

I've never had a problem receiving that card at Universal either. I'm sorry Chris is having to endure uncontrolled seizures. It would be pointless to pay for something you wouldn't choose to use if you had no medical need to be assured of getting back in the queue lines.---Kathy

I too had no problem getting the express pass with my Autistic son at Universal. The CM's were wonderful and we never waited (son can't take waiting). We also seemed to have the park to ourselves but that may have been because of the time of year that we went (August).

Thanks guys. This will be our first trip there with Chris. He is now so into the hulk it is so cute. He and Shrek too. It seems to be a green theme lol. I am neverous going out of the comfort zone of Disney :)
