Hi Ho.
I'm planning a trip in December (6-17) at WDW in which I have some meetings for the first few days, and then some friends coming the last few days. I had considered spending the couple days in between at Universal, as we've never been there, but I had some questions...
a) Will 2 days be sufficient for the 2 parks? I'm thinking 12/10-12/12. The party will be my Mom and myself, and she won't go on roller coasters or intense thrill rides, so I'm not sure how much there'll be for us.
b) Is it a big part of the experience to stay onsite, as it is at Disney? We'll be staying at Pop Century before and after, so it would be easier (and less expensive) to stay there, but if it adds considerably to the experience I'd be willing to make the move. I understand the FOTL pass comes with the hotels there, however--at that time of year, is it likely to be crowded enough where the pass will be a necessity? Is the traffic in the area in the morning bad enough where we'd waste an hour in the morning trying to get into the parking lots?
c) I hear the dining is better there than at Disney--do you have to make reservations months in advance, as at Disney?
Any other tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks for any info!
