More Internet dribble about the future of Universal and their list of potential new owners.
David Geffen, the "G" of "Dreamworks SKG", said that they are not interested in gobbling up Universal, at least that's what their "Public" statement is,
while another Universal Director/Production Co. is quietly circulated as interested in possibly trying to make a bid also. It's a long way from Mayberry, but it looks like Opie(Ron Howard) is all growed up and wants to buy, along with his "Imagine" partner, Brian Grazer, Universal Entertainment.
Stay tuned...
The sooner we get to the Vivendi Board meeting, I am sure that there will be even more suitors coming out of all corners of the world.

Jim Hill mentioned it in his Universal article. I guess we will have to wait until 9/25 for the scoop.

The Big rumor was the Six Flags, Cedair Point, or Busch Gardens parks we interested in buying. Right now I dont see Six Flags buying anything else, considering they lost about 60% of their stock value. Cediar Point seems like a good buyer but they are in the the Ohio area. Busch Gardens might buy it but the 2 Universal parks would turn to trash. I dont think Vivendi will sell Universal Orlando, unless they lose about another $2 Billion.
