Hey all. Just wondering with the new Kong attraction open, what is the best thing to do when the Universal parks open in the morning? Should you head directly to Reign of Kong when the gates open? Or is Harry Potter still the most coveted thing in the parks? If so, which is best to hit first - Diagon Alley (and Gringotts) or Hogsmeade (and Forbidden Journey)? If I recall from our trip last July, we hit Diagon Alley first and rode Gringotts a couple times, boarded the Hogwarts Express and rode to Hogsmeade to do Forbidden Journey. However, when we got there we did encounter at least a 20 - 30 minute wait time. We will not have the Express pass, so making the right choices in terms of morning attractions are crucial for us to maximize our days there!

Just wondering what you'd all suggest! We leave for our trip tomorrow!! :D

When we were there earlier this week we rode Kong once during EE. We got there slightly after EE began (8:25 or so) and went straight to the Kong queue. They walked the group to the ride and then we walked through the switchbacks straight onto the ride. By the time we got off the ride at 9:15/9:20 the sign said 75 min.

The rest of our EE mornings we did hogsmeade / diagon alley.
