Where can I find univeral menus online?? how about menus for the 3 onsite hotels?? I'd really like to check out the HRH menu for by the Pool because i think we will spend quite a few afternoons there. we might even check out the other hotels pool. Can anyone help with the poolside menus??? Did you hang out at the pool? what were some favorites???

Thanks I saw the ones on allears. I guess I'm used to the information overload on the WDW resorts BB

and therein is part of the charm of Universal, no commando'ing required;)

for a good overview of the parks including restaurants & the hotels & citiwalk, why not pickup copy of Kelly Monaghan's great guidebook?

Universal Orlando 2009: The Ultimate Guide To The Ultimate Theme Park Adventure :thumbsup2

I can't tell you how excited I am to be going to Universal this year!! My sons are also really excited. For me a big part of my trip is the planning. I really enjoy it. I hope I don't wear you US experts out its just my trip is months away and I can't wait so I plan and plan and then plan so more. I think FOTL (old term I know see I am learning some stuff already ;)) sounds brillant. Hopefully when I get back I'll have a bunch of up to date info for everybody. And I'll grab as many menus as I can.

it's 1/2 the fun for me too:goodvibes, just so nice once u 'get it down' re U layout that u can really coast, everything is really laid back. I always give a big sigh of relief & can truly relax when we pull up to one of the U onsite hotels when doing a split disney/Universal trip

the running joke here is that Universal & it's threads seem to be thought of as the the redheaded stepchild of the DISboard...the one always 2nd best, etc. I can't wait to read the glowing TRs from those (pre HP) who never would've considered visiting.

I've read so many decisive posts over the years from those who have condemed U with off-hand remarks "that would never happen @ Disney...":sad2: without ever experiencing it for themselves. I hope that HP will bring in a whole new group of fans to what many here call the darkside, they just need to realize it's not Disney & it's not trying to be Disney:thumbsup2

keish....we are either in for a whole lot more condemning, or the complete opposite how surprised everyone is how well U does things. It'll be either or. I know my niece will love it...she's 17 and this will be her first time to Universal EVER! (but, she mostly wants to see HP) I'm looking forward to her review. ;)

That said...I have pix of the poolside menus...I just have to find them...they are hidden in the last 3 year's trip reports...

Will go look for 'em and link...

I'm sure there are a lot of people like me who thought that US was for "Bigger Boys" and planned on visiting in the future. My oldest is 9 and I just thought the rides were too old and intense for him and his younger brothers. But with HP I figured they all really love the books and movies so we would test it out. I'm probably not going to let them do the really intense rides but will test out a couple of cool ones.

From same trip (next day/night), at Beach Club (HRH poolside).....

We grabbed 4 tables at the Beach Club at the HRHand ordered snacks and drinks. Beach Club PIC. MENU: 1, 2, 3, KID MENU, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8,9, 10 and 11.
After Bubba did about 45 slides on the slide, it was time to eat "dinner". Someone ordered nachos, and someone ordered wings. My DSIL ordered the big salad, DH got the wrap, DBIL got the quesadillas, the kids chicken, the kids pizza, the kids grilled cheese, and the boys got mozarella stix. I do believe we are missing a bunch of pictures of food, but DH was in charge of the camera, and I'm not sure if everyone else didn't eat, or were full from snacks earlier, or we just missed their food? Our group. The kids end of the table.

barb probably has pic of anything u could imagine @ U, her TRs r 'da bomb:thumbsup2

 I probably do have pix of most things around Universal. Because I stopped taking a lot of the 'usual' ones last year.

Guess trip reports w/ pix of U are gonna be light this year...mostly HP and the cruise :teeth:

btw...op, you're welcome. Altho, I swear I took pix of the menu at PBH pool, and my DH does too, I can't find them and MY computer is having issues so I can't even get on to look for them. I know there are pix of Mama Della's rest. at PBH in '09's report.

Methinks a list might be order... ...ya know...go 'mac-ish'!

Have no doubt it'll be taken care of this year. I think I have pix from Sal's pizza in one of them....can't remember which tho? '07 pt 1 maybe?
