Hi People,

Wonder if anyone can help me, We are going to Florida 12th May and the day we arrive (Saturday) we will be going down to City walk, we was oing to try and catch the last hour or two down in Universal/IOA. Does anyone know can we get access for the last 2 hours and what would costs be, would it be reduced for the couple of hours ?

Anyone got any idea's cheers

Most of the ticket deals are for multiple days. You'll probably end up with a 5 day ticket even if you don't use all days.

There is a way to get into the park for a couple hours that most people don't talk about. It's called a dining pass. The purpose of it is to let people eat at Mythos. What you do, is walk up to the guest services window outside of IOA, ask if Mythos is still open, and if they are, ask for a dining pass. They'll swipe your credit card, give you temporary tickets into the park, and tell you to come back within 2 hours with a receipt. You eat at Mythos, bring back the receipt, and they give you back the credit card imprint.

This worked out great when I had some friends visit us at the PBH. We went into IOA, ate at Mythos, went on a couple rides, and made it back to the window in 2 hours.

The only thing you'll have to ask about, is Mythos closes around 3pm when the park closes at 6pm, so I'm not sure if they'll be open when you visit. If Mythos is not open, you could see if they'll let you go in and eat at Confiscos which is located near the front of the park.

there is also another way to gain entrance to the parks if you want to shop.
if you forgot to buy something while you were at the park, you can go to guest services and request an ONE hour pass to the parks.

an imprint of a cc will be made.
if you return prior to that hour, there will be no charges for a ticket to your cc.
if you return past the time limit, you will be charged for the full ticket.

i'm not suggesting to use this priviledge just to do the parks for an hour but it is another option of going back into the parks to make a purchase of any item you forgot to buy when previously there.

My understanding is that guest services also requires a receipt from inside the park before they will refund the ticket as well.

If you do go in to eat with a dining pass, remember to keep track of the time!

I've used it before to bring friends and family to Mythos (I have an AP) and one day we got talking so much we lost track of time, and I actually went over the time. It took me a while to get the charge cleared with Guest Services, but it eventually happened after I explained what occured. (Even phamton had to hear me whine about that)
