Is it possible to do both parks in one day? Has anyone done this before? I am taking my sis to orlando thanksgiving weekend for her 18th b-day. The main purpose of the trip is to go to pleasure island on friday night but thought it would be nice to squeeze in a theme park. So either universal/ IOA or seaworld. Neither of us like roller coasters and those probably have the longest lines.
Thanks!!
Rachel

if you stay onsite and take advantage of express pass, where you don't have to wait in line, you can do it..we were there in march 05

We are staying at Sheraton Studio city which is about 5 min away but doesn't give express pass privalages. Got it through priceline so wouldn't be able to change it. Also curious how are the crowds thanksgiving weekend?

thanksgiving weekend is like the mid summer season
pretty crowded but no so crowded that it will ruin anything
have a great time
i wish i was there right now...

yeah its possible, i did it this time last year, the short lines are a real help, mummy might be the only snag and if you ride both fire and ice...but it is defo possible.

hope to do it again on monday :cool1:

I don't think you could do both parks complete without FOTL on Thanksgiving weekend. I've done it without FOTL once, but I was by myself (used single rider lines alot), and it was a Sunday in late January so there was almost no one there.

For Around 20 T0 35 Per Person You Can Purchase An Express Pass Which Are Limited In Number, Purchase At Service Window Early, And Aren't Quite As Good As Fotl With Onsite Hotels.

I took my best friend last year for her birthday to both parks in one day. It was her first time. I think that if you study the maps, and plan on skipping some things that you can do both parks in one day. I wouldn't try it though without Express plus passes.

I've just got back and we managed to do both in one day, but the queues were quite small!

We assumed the lines would be longer in IOA, so we did that early in the morning.
The lines in US were a lot smaller, so we did that later and barely queued for anything.

It can be done, but it takes a little planning.
